Southern Pigskin's 2017 recruiting class rankings for the ACC:

1. Florida State: 24 signees

Losing Dalvin Cook hurts, but replacing him with Cam Akers definitely eases the pain.

2. Miami: 24 signees

Pulling Mike Harley and Jeff Thomas, to pair with Deejay Dallas makes for one impressive receiving corps.

3. Virginia Tech: 26 signees

Per usual, Bud Foster will have plenty to work with going forward.

4. Clemson: 14 signees

This is what quality over quantity looks like.

5. Pittsburgh: 24 signees

He’s not James Conner, but A.J. Davis ought to work for a few years.

6. Georgia Tech: 24 signees

The Swilling brothers take Atlanta. Stay tuned.

7. Virginia: 25 signees

The Cavaliers wanted to get faster. Shawn Smith can help with that right away.

8. North Carolina: 21 signees

The Tar Heels locked down one of the better offensive line classes in the ACC.

9. Louisville: 22 signees

With a lot to replace in the secondary, the Cardinals made some big time signings in the defensive backfield.

10. Duke: 22 signees

David Cutcliffe’s class is headlined by defensive end Drew Jordan.

11. Syracuse: 22 signees

With time to develop, Tommy Devito could light up the ACC in that Babers offense, in the future.

12. NC State: 21 signees

Consistent class, but no wow-factor.

13. Wake Forest: 21 signees

Christian Beal might surprise a lot of people with his playmaking ability.

14. Boston College: 20 signees

BC obviously spent this cycle trying to improve on offense, but only time will tell.
