Version 2.0 of the South Georgia Player Rankings sees expansion from a Top 40 to a Top 55. There are 19 new names, each designated with the acronym NR. There has also been movement within the player rankings. The LR column stands for rankings from Version 1.0, while the CR column stands for current rankings in Version 2.0.

Four prospects in the initial rankings have been taken out; they have transferred to schools outside the designated South Georgia Area. They are Jamarion Ellis of Eastman (Ga.) Dodge County, Omar Burroughs of Savannah (Ga.) Savannah Christian, Aalah Brown of Valdosta (Ga.) and Weston Franklin of Jesup (Ga.) Wayne County. Ellis, Burroughs and Franklin have transferred to Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy; Brown is headed to Alpharetta (Ga.) Denmark.

There are currently 15 prospects in the South Georgia Rankings with at least one FBS or FCS offer, six of which have five of more offers at this time. Kingsland (Ga.) Lee County receiver Chauncey Magwood has also reached the double digit mark with 11 offers.

One of the leaders for the Bearcats was two-way standout Caleb McDowell. As a sophomore he accounted for over 1,500 all-purpose yards while recording 35 tackles and two interceptions. McDowell currently holds offers from Colorado and Florida Atlantic. He makes his entry at #18.

Valdosta (Ga.) linebacker Jaylin Alderman comes in at #23. This athletic backer also played some receiver for the pass-happy Wildcats. His versatility may allow him to project at several positions at the next level.

Coming in at #24 is Richmond Hill cornerback Jordan Clark. Clark recorded 35 tackles, four TFL’s while leading the team with three interceptions. He also caught five passes for 85 yards. Clark has already picked up an offer from West Virginia.
