Per the bowl’s website: “The U.S. Army All-American Bowl presented by American Family Insurance is the nation’s premier high school All-American game, featuring the best 100 players in an annual East vs. West matchup every January in San Antonio’s Alamodome.”
LeCounte, hailing from Liberty County, is listed at 5’10.5”, 174 pounds and touted as one of the nation’s two best safeties for the class of 2017. He has been a firm commit to the University of Georgia since mid-December, of 2015, and will be on campus, as an early enrollee, on Monday.
LeCounte made waves on social media, earlier this week at All-American Bowl practice after he did this in a WR-DB drill:

Demery, a fellow UGA commit, is from just down the road of LeCounte, in Brunswick, Georgia. Standing at 6’5.5”, 319 pounds, Demery is regarded as one of the best 15 or 20 offensive tackles in America.
He, unlike LeCounte, will not be an early enrollee, but will be in Athens, come next fall, along with three more new offensive tackles (two freshmen, one JUCO), as clear evidence of a concerted effort, on the part of Kirby Smart and Sam Pittman, to get bigger in the trenches.
Long one of the most under-recruited areas in the country, relative to the level of talent, LeCounte and Demery, along with many others, highlight a new era of football in southeast Georgia.
Amplified by these two players Army All-American Bowl selections, coastal Georgia is finally beginning to be mined for its long ignored depths of collegiate-level talent.
