From the Florida border up through the coastal empire, the recruiting profile of southeast Georgia has grown and expanded considerably.
As the 2015 high school football season approaches, teams, in southeast Georgia, will compete with college programs paying close attention. Schools from across the country are well-aware of the talent and depth along the coast of the Peach State. From the Florida border up through the coastal empire, the recruiting profile of southeast Georgia has grown and expanded considerably.
Home to numerous current NFL players, the region has become a very popular stop on the recruiting trails. Some highly-rated players to watch this fall include Arkeem Byrd, Deejay Dallas, Richard LeCounte, Dedrick Mills and Demetris Robertson. Many prospects from throughout the area have multiple power five conference offers — and counting. Robertson is regarded by most as the number one athlete in the nation for the class of 2016. Dallas is currently committed to Georgia, while Mills has pledged to Georgia Tech.
Top-level ability has been on display on the spring and summer circuit, including the Explosive Southern Pigskin Camps, and will be showcased this season.
State championship contenders, in multiple classifications in southeast Georgia, are primed and ready to begin. As talented teams pursue their potential, countless college football programs will be doing the same.
