Toast of the Coast Recruiting Updates

Brunswick, Georgia, recently played host to the 2014 “Toast of the Coast”, a seven-on-seven tournament involving more than a dozen high school programs in Georgia and Florida.

Brunswick, Georgia, recently played host to the 2014 “Toast of the Coast”, a seven-on-seven tournament involving more than a dozen high school programs in Georgia and Florida.

Here is a look at some of the recruiting information we were able to gather at the event:

• 2015 DT prospect Cordarro Stoute out of Glynn Academy recently picked up an offer from Southern Miss. Stoute received his first scholarship offer from Troy a few weeks prior. He is still currently hearing from a handful of FBS schools, including Auburn, Central Florida, Georgia and Georgia Southern.

• 2015 DE prospect Steven Wright out of Ware County has recently exploded to become one of the hottest prospects in the country. He recently reached double-digit scholarship offers, with some of his more recent offers including Nebraska, North Carolina and Tennessee.

• 2015 DB prospect Marquise Foreman out of Pierce County is close to picking up his first scholarship offer. Although he lacks ideal size, Foreman is an instinctual playmaker who is not afraid to deliver a big hit. He expects an offer from Mercer to be on its way in the near future.

• 2015 CB prospect Raekwon Chatman out of Ware County recently picked up his first scholarship offer from UNC-Charlotte. He continues to hear from a multitude of other FBS and FCS programs.

• 2015 DB prospect Anthony Wilson out of Brunswick High recently picked up a scholarship offer from Army. He did not participate in the seven-on-seven due to a minor hamstring injury, but he has really seen his recruiting interest pick up in recent weeks.

• 2015 DL prospect Rosheem Collins out of Ware County currently holds a pair of scholarship offers. Collins’ two offers to this point have come from Georgia Southern and South Alabama. He continues to receive FBS interest.

• 2016 RB/LB prospect Dedrick Mills out of Ware County continues to develop into one of the top prospects for the class of 2016. Mills currently holds seven scholarship offers, with his two most recent offers coming from Florida and Florida State.
