A look back at Joe Burrow's top five games from his career in Baton Rouge.

With Joe Burrow starring in leading Cincinnati to Super Bowl LVI, his iconic career at LSU is back in the spotlight. Below were Burrow's five best games with the Tigers;

1. vs Oklahoma, Peach Bowl (College Football Playoff Semifinal)
Burrow was unrealistcally ridiculous against the Sooners in the final four, completing 29-of-39 passes for 493 yards and seven touchdowns; stunningly, all seven passing scores, yes seven, came in the first half. For good measure, Burrow even added a rushing touchdown on the Tigers' first drive after the break. Simply put, Burrow's Peach Bowl performances is one of the best single games in college football history. Justin Jefferson's effort, with 14 catches for 227 yards and four scores, deserves similar acclaim. Burrow's 2019 season stands alone, with his semifinal spotlight standing as an all-time signature showcase.

2.  vs Clemson, College Football Playoff Final
In a pairing of the 2020 and 2021 number one overall picks in the NFL Draft, Burrow starred on the game's biggest stage. He was 31-of-49 passing for 463 yards and five touchdowns, adding 58 yards on the ground and a rushing score, in leading LSU to a national championship game-triumph over Trevor Lawrence and Clemson. He, facing a top three Tiger defense, threw two touchdown passes to Ja'Marr Chase, two more to Thaddeus Moss and another to Terrance Marshall. Burrow rallied his Tigers back from an early 17-7 deficit along the way. His night ended with over 500 total yards, a half-dozen total touchdowns and a ring.

3. at Alabama
In a instant-classic where Burrow and Tua Tagovailoa helped the Tigers and Crimson Tide combine for over 1,100 yards of total offense, Burrow completed nearly 80% of his throws for 393 yards and three touchdowns and did so in famed Bryant-Denny Stadium in Tuscaloosa. Burrow even added a season-high 64 yards rushing in the win. He and Clyde Edwards-Helaire, who scored four total touchdowns, rushing for three, led LSU to a critical milestone victory in the most important game on the regular season schedule.

4. vs Georgia, SEC Championship Game
In a matchup of one of the best offenses in college football versus one of the best defenses, Burrow was incredibly productive and efficient in a national spotlight pairing in Atlanta. He completed 28-of-38 passes for 349 yards and four touchdowns, opening the afternoon going 10-for-11, setting the stage for his Heisman Trophy honor the next weekend. Burrow's play helped turned a top five, championship game-contest, one featuring an elite defense, into just another lopsided win for the Tigers.

5. vs Florida
Burrow and Florida's Kyle Trask went back-and-forth, with Burrow completing a remarkable 21-of-24 passes, good for 87.5%, for 293 yards and three touchdowns. Down seven midway through the third quarter, he helped the Tigers finish the night on a 21-0 run, a rally highlighted by a 54-yard score to Ja'Marr Chase. The win over then-undefeated Florida was a key one for Burrow and LSU.
