Former LSU head coach Les Miles is out at Kansas following reports of inappropriate behavior towards female students.

Les Miles is out as the head football coach at Kansas after the two parties mutually agreed to part ways Monday night.

The news follows the release of a report from the Taylor Porter law firm that showed 2013 findings accused Miles of inappropriate behavior towards female students. Among the allegations were that Miles contacted some via Facebook and text, met them off campus alone and kissed at least one of them, which he denies. Information also shows that Miles wanted female workers to have a certain look.

Miles was notably banned by LSU from being alone with female students following the 2013 investigation.

A report conducted by the Husch Blackwell law firm also showed system-wide failures at LSU in terms of reporting and processing sexual misconduct and abuse within athletics.

In 2013, former LSU Athletic Director Joe Alleva recommended that Miles be fired for cause.

Miles was the head coach at LSU from 2005-2016, winning a national championship in 2007, and the head coach at Kansas from 2019-2020.
