Though the snaps haven't yet been many, the highlights already are.

Florida quarterback Anthony Richardson is making the most of his opportunities. He, in a reserve role, threw for 40 yards and ran 160 yards and a touchdown on just seven carries in the Gators' season-opening win over Florida Atlantic. For an encore performance, Richardson made even more of an impression. Against South Florida, he completed 3-of-3 passes for 152 yards and two touchdowns and ran four times for 115 yards and a score.

Even in limited action, Richardson has been one of college football's most explosive players. The Gainesville-native is quickly becoming a star.

After a 73-yard touchdown run in week one, Richardson promptly added an 80-yard sprint in week two, also throwing scoring strikes of 75 and 41 yards. Each time he steps on the field, it's been the start of another big play. Richardson's home run potential has been on clear display. Though the snaps haven't yet been many, the highlights already are.

Two games into this season, Richardson is averaging 17.5 yards per pass attempt, 32 yards per completion and 25 yards per rush. He isn't just playing well, he is playing video games.

Finishing last year with a 27-yard touchdown pass in the Cotton Bowl loss to Oklahoma, Richardson has hit the ground running this fall. While Emory Jones has been Florida's starting quarterback, Richardson has been the player many around the country are discussing. Counting rushes and throws going to back to last season, he now has five total touchdowns in his last 23 plays.

Get ready to see much more of Richardson moving forward. His big play ability has been one of the storylines of the start to this college football season.
