The SoCon’s top week twelve performers.

nOffensive Player of the Week: Kelvin McKnight, Samford — McKnight hauled in ten catches for 179 yards and a touchdown in the win against Furman.

nDefensive Player of the Week: Dylan Weigel, ETSU — Weigel made 12 tackles, three of which were for a loss, despite falling to Chattanooga, 10-3.

nSpecial Teams Player of the Week: Austin Barnard, Samford — Barnard averaged 52 yards per punt with 50% being downed inside the 20-yard line to help beat Furman.

nCoach of the Week: Chris Hatcher, Samford — Hatcher’s Bulldogs beat Furman 26-20, effectively securing a spot in the FCS Playoffs.

nX-Factor of the Week: Shaheed Salmon, Samford — Salmon notched eight tackles, two for a loss, and the game sealing interception versus Furman.
