The week four Southern Pigskin award winners for the Southern Conference.

nSoCon Offensive Player of the Week: Liam Welch, Samford — Completed 56-of-73 passes for 582 yards and three touchdowns, adding 73 yards rushing, in the Bulldogs’ 55-48 overtime loss to East Tennessee State.

nSoCon Defensive Player of the Week: Stone Snyder, VMI — Recorded 19 total tackles and 1.5 tackles for loss in the Keydets’ 31-23 win over Wofford.

nSoCon Special Teams Player of the Week: Tyler Keltner, East Tennessee State — Converted 2-of-2 field goal tries, including a game-tying kick as regulation ended, in the Buccaneers’ 55-48 overtime win over Samford.

nSoCon Coach of the Week: Drew Cronic, Mercer — The Bears did not allow a touchdown and recorded four interceptions in their 24-3 win over Furman.

nSoCon X-Factor of the Week: Quay Holmes, East Tennessee State — Ran 24 times for 168 yards and two touchdowns, including the game-winning score in overtime, in the Buccaneers’ 55-48 overtime win over Samford.
