Week five award winners for the Southeastern Conference;
SEC Offensive Player of the Week: T.J. Finley, LSU — Making his first career start, Finley completed 17-of-21 passes for 265 yards and two touchdowns, adding 24 yards rushing and another score on the ground, in the Tigers’ 52-24 win over South Carolina.
SEC Defensive Player of the Week: Yusuf Corker, Kentucky — Recorded 18 total tackles, 16 of them solo, with two tackles for loss and a sack, in the Wildcats’ 20-10 loss to Missouri.
SEC Special Teams Player of the Week: Trey Palmer, LSU — Returned a third quarter kickoff 93 yards for a touchdown in the Tigers’ 52-24 win over South Carolina.
SEC Coach of the Week: Eli Drinkwitz, Missouri — The Tigers had 26 first downs compared to eight for Kentucky in their 20-10 win over the Wildcats.
SEC X-Factor of the Week: Seth Williams, Auburn — Caught eight passes for 150 yards and the game-winning touchdown, along with the ensuing two-point conversion, in the Tigers’ 35-28 win over Ole Miss.
