Chattanooga continued its recent dominance of the SoCon by avenging its lone conference loss since 2013 by beating Mercer 52-31.0 Last season, the Bears snapped the Mocsxe2x80x99 12-game SoCon winning streak with a 17-14 upset in Macon.0 Since 2013, Chattanooga sports a 23-3 record against league foes.0
VMI notches big win
VMI picked up a home win over ETSU, 37-7, behind Al Cobbxe2x80x99s 212 yards and three touchdown passes.0 The 30-point SoCon win for the Keydets was their largest margin of victory in a league game since a 1995 win over The Citadel, 34-7.0 VMI now has three wins on the year, which equals its highest win total since 2010, when it finished 3-8.
