Class of 2015 kicker Colton Lichtenberg out of Savannah Country Day in Georgia has made a verbal commitment to play his college football with the Boston College Eagles in the ACC.
Ranked as a top 10 prospect nationally at the position by KohlsKicking.com, Lichtenberg received scholarship offers from Boston College and Fresno State over this past weekend before ultimately deciding on the Eagles just a few short days later.

Lichtenberg successfully converted a 62-yard field goal off of the ground at a kicking camp this past summer, and has been widely regarded as having one of the strongest kicking legs in this class.
With the departures of Joey Launceford and Alex Howell, Lichtenberg is expected to compete with rising sophomore Mike Knoll for the starting job for both kickoffs and field goals.
Lichtenberg will officially sign his letter of intent with the Eagles on National Signing Day.
