Albany, Georgia’s Trenton Thompson has verballed to the Georgia Bulldogs.
The nation’s top-ranked defensive tackle for the class of 2015, Trenton Thompson of Albany, has verbally committed to Mark Richt and the Georgia Bulldogs. Thompson chose UGA over Alabama, Auburn and others. He is considered the top prospect in the state of Georgia and one of the top handful of players nationally.
Thompson is 6’4”, 311 pounds, a powerful interior force at the line of scrimmage. His combination of size and strength makes Thompson a strong candidate to be an impact player right away at the next level.
Richt and the Bulldogs now have pledges from two five-star prospects from the Peach State: Thompson and athlete Terry Godwin from Hogansville.
