The SoCon’s best players from week six.

nOffensive Player of the Week: Andre Stoddard, Wofford — Stoddard rushed for 157 yards on 21 carries with two touchdowns against Western Carolina.

nDefensive Player of the Week: Dillon Vann, Furman — Vann made two tackles, one for a loss, and had a 33-yard pick six to help beat Chattanooga 41-17.

nSpecial Teams Player of the Week: Jordan Weaver, Samford — Weaver knocked through all four of his field goal tries and finished with 14 points in a 26-7 win at VMI.

nCoach of the Week: Mike Ayers, Wofford — Ayers’ Terriers stayed unbeaten with a 35-28 overtime win against Western Carolina.

nX-Factor of the Week: George Gbesee, Wofford — Gbesee recorded two interceptions, including one in overtime to seal the game versus Western Carolina.
