The week six Southern Pigskin award winners for the Southern Conference.

nSoCon Offensive Player of the Week: Devin Wynn, Furman — Ran 31 times for 204 yards and two touchdowns, adding three catches for 43 yards and another score, in the Paladins’ 42-20 win over Wofford.

nSoCon Defensive Player of the Week: Lance Wise, Mercer — Recorded eight total tackles, a tackle for loss, an interception and a forced fumble in the Bears’ 34-24 win over Western Carolina.

nSoCon Special Teams Player of the Week: Jerry Rice, VMI — Converted 5-of-5 field goal attempts, with a long of 49 yards, including a game-winning 37-yard kick in overtime in the Keydets’ 37-34 win over Chattanooga.

nSoCon Coach of the Week: Scott Wachenheim, VMI — The Keydets compiled 485 yards of total offense in their 37-34 overtime win over Chattanooga.

nSoCon X-Factor of the Week: Seth Morgan, VMI — Completed 30-of-42 passes for 306 yards and three touchdowns in the Keydets’ 37-34 overtime win over Chattanooga.
