A number of school and conference records are in jeopardy of taking a fall in the SEC this season.

With 12-game schedules, faster offenses (Hi, Coach Saban and Coach Bielema) and increased bowl appearances, college football record books have become subject to frequent rewrites in recent years. Sports information staffs around the SEC (as well as the SEC itself) will likely be busy next spring when they begin to draft 2014 media guides, as many school records appear to be within reach this fall by current players.

Let’s look at who has an opportunity to climb to their school’s and their conference’s highest pedestal in the SEC during the 2013 season.
