Here are the three individuals, coaches and players included, I’m most looking forward to hearing from at ACC Media Days.

Looking ahead to the 2016 ACC Kickoff in Charlotte, North Carolina, numerous storylines are sure to emerge. From Clemson and Florida State as College Football Playoff contenders to four new head coaches, the two-day event will set the table for what should be an exciting season leaguewide. Below are the three individuals, coaches and players included, I’m most looking forward to hearing from;

1. Mark Richt, Miami — After 15 years at Georgia, one of college football’s most accomplished active coaches returns to the Sunshine State. Richt played quarterback for the Hurricanes from 1979-1982 and was an assistant and coordinator at Florida State from 1990-2000. The Boca Raton-native’s return to south Florida has energized the Miami fan base. Richt inherits a team that has one of the top signal callers in the game in junior Brad Kaaya. Previously the patriarch of SEC coaches, Richt’s Hurricanes now have to be considered one of the most fascinating teams in the ACC for this fall.

2. Deshaun Watson, Clemson — There isn’t a bigger star in college football today and the encore-expectations are off the charts. Watson’s last outing has to be in the conversation, given the opponent and the stage, for the the greatest single-game performance the game has ever seen. Last season was a historic one for the Tigers, with a 14-0 start before losing in the memorable finale to Alabama. Watson has a dynamic skill set, an inspiring story and is the top contender for the Heisman Trophy.

3. Pat Narduzzi, Pittsburgh — Everyone is excited to hear Narduzzi talk about the progress of James Conner, the All-American running back who is now cancer-free. Conner is college football’s best story. A strong argument can be made that the Panthers should be the favorite in the ACC Coastal Division. There is star power all over the roster in the likes of Conner, Qadree Ollison, Ejuan Price and Jordan Whitehead. Nathan Peterman is one of the better quarterbacks in the conference.
