Texas A&M Suspends Kirby Ennis

COLLEGE STATION, Texas — Texas A&M defensive lineman Kirby Ennis has been suspended from the team after being arrested on a gun charge.
According to Brazos County jail records, Ennis was arrested on Friday night by the College Station Police Department and charged with disorderly conduct, discharge or display of a firearm.
He was released on a $2,000 bond early Saturday morning. There were no further details available on his arrest.
Texas A&M released a statement saying, “Texas A&M officials have been made aware of the arrest of football player Kirby Ennis and according to athletics department policy he is immediately suspended from all team activities pending further investigation.”
Ennis appeared in 13 games with 11 starts as a junior last season. He had 24 tackles including two tackles for losses and a sack.
