Jana Keeps her cool and plays along

June 30th may have been the last night of Darius Rucker’s ‘True Believers’ tour for superstar Jana Kramer, but that didn’t stop her from having the time of her life at DTE Energy Music Theatre near her hometown of Rochester, MI. 

It wouldn’t be a proper ending to the tour if there weren’t a few pranks involved! Within the first two songs of Jana’s set she was pranked twice by the crew and her band mates. 

Right before Jana took the stage, two guys escorted her new puppy (a brown boxer) across the stage to leave a nice little “farewell present” for her that she couldn’t miss.

She accepted it with a laugh and a smile as she kicked off the show. 

During her second song the crowd caught onto her drummer staring up at the lights in the rafters. Not too long after, you could see a guy lowering a stuffed ostrich accompanied by a large brown bag. 

Once Jana realized something was going on the bag exploded and feathers went flying everywhere!

 

The singer was laughing so hard that she stopped singing and had to take a minute to catch her breath.  

After the feathers landed and she regrouped, the show went off without a hitch! Jana ended the night by sending out a tweet thanking everyone at the show and giving a shout out to her home state. 

Fans are sad that it’s over, but are also looking forward to seeing Jana take the stage with Blake Shelton on his ’10 Times Crazier’ tour.
