Greg Reid to D-II Valdosta State

Former Florida State cornerback and return specialist Greg Reid, who was kicked off the team earlier this month, has been accepted into Valdosta State University in his hometown of Valdosta, Georgia.
Valdosta State is a Division II power that plays in the Gulf South Conference. Last season the Blazers went 6-4, losing their last three games by seven points or less. VSU opens the 2012 season at Saginaw Valley State on September 1st. Reid will be eligible to play football this year, with one season of eligibility left.
Reid finished his three-year FSU career with 110 tackles, four tackles for loss, 25 pass break ups, three fumbles forced, five interceptions, 1,553 kickoff return yards, 1,117 punt return yards and four career touchdowns.
