SouthernPigskin.com Senior SEC Writer Jeremy Hillman previews week eleven in the SEC.

It is now the fourth quarter and time is flying off the clock. As the regular season winds down, the games keep getting bigger and bigger. Here is my preview of the SEC matchups in week 10:

DO NOT MISS THESE GAMES:

South Carolina at Florida
(Saturday, November 13th, 7:15 ESPN)
Player To Watch: South Carolina RB Marcus Lattimore (after a light stats day against Arkansas, can Lattimore grind out yards against Florida and open things up for Alshon Jefferey and the passing game?)
Bottom Line: This is for the SEC East title and a trip to Atlanta for the SEC Championship game. Both teams have 3 losses, but both teams have shown that when things are clicking they can be good football teams. South Carolina must avoid giving up big offensive plays early on defense and allow Marcus Lattimore and the running game time to develop in the first half. That will open up things for star receiver Alshon Jefferey later in the game. However, also look for a few costly mistakes and turnovers from South Carolina and for Florida to take advantage. Using a short field on several occasions, the Gators speed on offense will be a little too much for a struggling Gamecocks defense. Look for Florida to defeat South Carolina and earn a trip to the SEC title game.
Predicted Score: Florida 34 South Carolina 27 (line: Florida -6.5)

Georgia at Auburn
(Saturday, November 13th – 3:30 CBS )
Player To Watch: Auburn QB Cameron Newton (will all the distractions this week hurt or help Newton?)
Bottom Line: If Auburn wins, the Tigers are the champions of the SEC West and will face the South Carolina/Florida winner in the SEC Championship game. However, Auburn won’t take Georgia lightly. The Bulldogs bring an offense into Jordan Hare stadium that can put up points. Georgia’s stud wide receiver A.J. Green should have a huge game against an Auburn secondary that has shown some weaknesses throughout the season. That being said, the biggest star in this show will be Cameron Newton. The Auburn quarterback that has been in the news regarding all sorts of rumors and allegations will have a focused and determined game and drive his Tigers to the conference title game.
Predicted Score: Auburn 37 Georgia 33 (line: Auburn -8.5)

Mississippi State at Alabama
(Saturday, November 13th – 7:15)
Player To Watch: Alabama WR Julio Jones (against a stingy Bulldog defense, can Jones be the difference maker?)
Bottom Line: How will Alabama bounce back after a deflating loss to LSU last weekend? Mississippi State could turn this good season into a special season with a win over the Tide. However, look for Mark Ingram and Trent Richardson to grind out yards and eventually open up the passing game for Alabama. State will play tough and stay in this one into the fourth quarter, but Relf and the passing game will fail to come up with the big play they need. Alabama wins it at home.
Predicted Score: Alabama 27 Mississippi State 17 (line: Alabama -13.5)

COULD BE FUN TO WATCH:

Ole Miss at Tennessee
(Saturday, November 13th – 12:00 CBS )
Player To Watch: Ole Miss RB Brandon Bolden (with QB Jeremiah Masoli dealing with a concussion, Bolden and the Ole Miss ground game will need to be effective)
Bottom Line: Both of these programs need this win badly. Look for this game to be a battle between the running of Ole Miss’ Brandon Bolden and Enrique Davis and the passing of Tennessee’s Tyler Bray. Look for the Tennessee to connect on some big passes, but for a couple of passes to lead to interceptions. Then, the running of Ole Miss could wear down the Volunteer’s defense and lead Ole Miss to a big road win.
Predicted Score: Ole Miss 27 Tennessee 24 (line: Tennessee -1)

WATCH AT YOUR OWN RISK:

Vanderbilt at Kentucky
(Saturday, November 13th – 12:21)
Player To Watch: Kentucky QB Mike Hartline (can Hartline keep the offense moving and avoid the costly turnovers that have hurt the Wildcats the past few weeks?)
Bottom Line: Kentucky will qualify for a bowl game with a victory in this one. The Wildcats program cannot afford a loss to Vanderbilt this season. The Commodores weren’t a good team early in the season and now with the loss of a couple solid running backs, they are even worse. Look for a slow start by both teams and then for Kentucky and it’s offensive weapons to blow by Vanderbilt.
Predicted Score: Kentucky 34 Vanderbilt 14 (line: Kentucky -14)

ULM at LSU
(Saturday, November 13th – 7:00)
Player To Watch: LSU QB Jordan Jefferson (will the rotation of quarterbacks between Jefferson and Lee keep working?)
Bottom Line: This game will be a sleeper. LSU will come out slow and grind out a few plays to take the early lead. Then in the second half, the running game will get rolling and the Tigers will rout the Warhawks.
Predicted Score: LSU 41 ULM 10 (line: Ole Miss -32.5)

UTEP at Arkansas
(Saturday, November 13th – 7:00 ESPNU)
Player To Watch: Arkansas QB Ryan Mallett (just how big will his numbers be this week?)
Bottom Line: The UTEP Miners are bowl eligible at 6-4 and have a decent team. However, Arkansas is a very good team. This one could get ugly, quickly. Look for Ryan Mallett and the Arkansas offense to light-up the scoreboard. UTEP will have a couple big plays, but Arkansas wins a lopsided affair.
Predicted Score: Arkansas 44 UTEP 14 (line: Tennessee -28.5)
