Here are a few of the best college football quotes to ever come out of the South:

Football in the South has offered its fair share of characters over the years. For all the action on the field, some of the most memorable moments have come after the whistle blows. Whether you loved them, or loved to hate them, guys like Bear Bryant, Bobby Bowden, and Steve Spurrier always seemed to know just what to say. You might not associate football players and coaches as particularly standout orators, but these guys have left us with some of the most colorful, funny, and occasionally thought provoking quotes of all time. Here are a few of my personal favorites:

Bear Bryant —
