Bud Light Southern Power Poll (ACC, SEC, Sun Belt)
1. Alabama (10-0)
Another SEC Championship Game awaits, with the top-ranked and red-hot Crimson Tide regarded as a heavy favorite over Florida.
2. Notre Dame (10-0)
Still without a conference loss (in history), the Fighting Irish will now try for an ACC Championship in a rematch with Clemson.
3. Clemson (9-1)
The Tigers next get their ACC title game rematch with undefeated Notre Dame, this time with superstar quarterback Trevor Lawrence in the lineup.
4. Texas A&M (7-1)
After the cancellation of their game with Ole Miss, the Aggies will finish the regular season with a game at Tennessee.
5. Georgia (7-2)
The Bulldogs have looked really good in consecutive weeks, beating South Carolina and nationally-ranked Missouri by a total of 94-30.
6. Florida (8-2)
A home loss to LSU was a disappointing, especially given the circumstances, though the Gators will still get their shot at Alabama in Atlanta.
7. Coastal Carolina (11-0)
It was close, but the Chanticleers remained perfect with a signature last-minute touchdown drive to give them a 42-38 win over Troy.
8. North Carolina (8-3)
What the Tar Heels did at Miami was downright stunning: 778 total yards, 554 rushing yards and 62 total points in a victory to remember.
9. Miami (8-2)
Though Saturday’s home loss to North Carolina was staggering, especially defensively, the Hurricanes still have eight wins.
10. Louisiana (9-1)
Still with just one loss, and a win over Iowa State, the Ragin’ Cajuns now get a second chance at Coastal Carolina in the Sun Belt Championship Game.
11. Auburn (6-4)
The sudden firing of veteran head coach Gus Malzahn comes with questions for a power program now in need of answers.
12. NC State (8-3)
It’s been a really good season for the rising Wolfpack, who impressively won four games in a row to finish the regular season.
