Projecting the bowl destinations for teams in the ACC, SEC and Sun Belt.

Every week, in this column, I predict the bowl location and opponent for each program in the SEC, ACC and Sun Belt Conference. As we enter Thanksgiving and rivalry weekend, the college football regular season is nearing its end. With just two weeks of games to go, teams will be vying for spots in the new College Football Playoff and in bowls across the country. Here are my week thirteen bowl projections:

THE ELITE BOWLS:

Rose Bowl (College Football Playoff Semifinal): 2 Oregon Vs. 3 Florida State
Sugar Bowl (College Football Playoff Semifinal): 1 Alabama Vs. 4 Mississippi State

Orange Bowl: Michigan State Vs. Clemson
Fiesta Bowl: Ohio State Vs. UCLA
Peach Bowl: Georgia Vs. TCU
Cotton Bowl: Arizona Vs. Baylor

THE REMAINING SEC BOWLS:

In a weekend that saw most of the Southeastern Conference matchup against cupcakes, there were still two important games where we saw Arkansas blow out Ole Miss and Missouri defeat Tennessee. The win made the Rebels bowl eligible and got Mizzou one step closer to the SEC Championship game. Here are my latest SEC bowl projections:

Capital One Bowl: Missouri Vs. Wisconsin
Outback Bowl: Auburn Vs. Minnesota
Belk Bowl: LSU Vs. Notre Dame
Taxslayer Bowl: Ole Miss Vs. Louisville
Texas Bowl: Texas A&M Vs. Texas
Music City Bowl: Tennessee Vs. Iowa
Liberty Bowl: South Carolina Vs. West Virginia
Independence Bowl: Florida Vs. Virginia Tech
Birmingham Bowl: Arkansas Vs. Cincinnati

THE ACC BOWL PICTURE:

It was a weekend of important games in the ACC, as Florida State edged Boston College, North Carolina upset Duke, Virginia kept their bowl hopes alive with a big win over Miami, Louisville beat Notre Dame, and Wake Forest shocked Virginia Tech. All of these outcomes altered my latest Atlantic Coast Conference bowl outlook:

Russell Athletic Bowl: Georgia Tech Vs. Oklahoma
Taxslayer Bowl: Louisville Vs. Ole Miss
Hyundai Sun Bowl: Duke Vs. Utah
New Era Pinstripe Bowl: Miami Vs. Penn State
Military Bowl: Boston College Vs. East Carolina
Independence Bowl: Virginia Tech Vs. Florida
BITCOIN St. Petersburg Bowl: N.C. State Vs. UCF
Quicklane Bowl: North Carolina Vs. Northwestern

THE SUN BELT BOWL PICTURE

With two big upsets, Appalachian State upset Louisiana and Texas State upset Arkansas State, over the weekend in Sun Belt play, it is proving to be a wild finish in the race for the three conference bowl games:

New Orleans Bowl: Louisiana Vs. Fresno State
Camellia Bowl: Texas State Vs. Toledo
GoDaddy Bowl: Arkansas State Vs. Northern Illinois

Expect plenty of drama around playoff and bowl selection time in this first year under a new system. Should be fun to see unfold. Check back each week to see where teams rise and fall in the bowl pecking order.
