Southern Pigskin’s week one award winners in the SEC.

SEC Offensive Player of the Week: Bryce Young, Alabama — Completed 27-of-38 passes for 344 yards and four touchdowns in the Crimson Tide’s 44-13 win over Miami.

SEC Defensive Player of the Week: Christopher Smith, Georgia — Returned a second quarter interception 74 yards for a touchdown in the Bulldogs’ 10-3 win over Clemson.

SEC Special Teams Player of the Week: Will Reichard, Alabama — Converted 3-of-3 field goal attempts, with a long of 51 yards, in the Crimson Tide’s 44-13 win over Miami.

SEC Coach of the Week: Kirby Smart, Georgia — The Bulldogs held Clemson to just 180 total yards and two rushing yards in their 10-3 win over the Tigers.

SEC X-Factor of the Week: Zeb Noland, South Carolina — The former graduate assistant completed 13-of-22 passes for 121 yards and four touchdowns in the Gamecocks’ 46-0 win over Eastern Illinois.
