SoCon teams will play 11 games against FBS opponents in 2015.

Such is the nature of FCS football, that occasionally you play an FBS team. The FBS team gets, or at least hopes to get, an easy win, and the FCS team gets a nice payday. Sometimes the FCS teams make it interesting; sometimes they even win. In any case, here are the SoConxe2x80x99s FBS matchups for the 2015 season:

September 3: VMI @ Ball State

September 5: Wofford @ Clemson

September 12: Furman @ Virginia Tech 0*My potential FCS upset of the year.

September 19: Wofford @ Idaho

September 19: The Citadel @ Georgia Southern

September 19: Furman @ UCF

September 19: Western Carolina @ Tennessee

September 26: Samford @ Louisville

November 14: Western Carolina @ Texas A&M

November 21: The Citadel @ South Carolina

November 21: Chattanooga @ Florida State
