The week twelve players of the week in the Southern Conference.

nOffensive Player of the Week: Troy Mitchell, Western Carolina — had 339 passing yards, 109 rushing yards and six total touchdowns in the Catamounts 42-27 win over VMI.

nDefensive Player of the Week: Nick Miller, Furman — made seven tackles and recovered a fumble to help Furman beat Wofford 31-14.

nSpecial Teams Player of the Week: John Croft Hollingsworth, Furman — made a 44-yard field goal and nailed all four of his extra points in his team’s victory.

nCoach of the Week: Pat Sullivan, Samford — Sullivan’s Bulldogs were penalized only three times and had no turnovers in their 20-17 win over the Citadel.

nX-Factor of the Week: PJ Blazejowski, Furman — completed all fifteen of his passing attempts for 305 yards and scored three total touchdowns in the Paladins’ vivtory versus Wofford.
