Previewing all of the weekend action in the Southern Conference.

Two of the FCS leaders in rushing will meet on Saturday in Spartanburg as The Citadel and Wofford match up for the 69th time.0 The Bulldogs top the national rushing rankings with 381 yards per game, and the Terriers rank fourth with 312 yards on the ground per game.0 Wofford has beaten The Citadel eight times in a row in Spartanburg and had won 16 in a row overall since 1998 before the Bulldogs 39-12 win in Charleston last year.
2. When Mercer travels to Austin Peay Saturday afternoon the Bears will be in search of the SoConxe2x80x99s tenth win against teams from other FCS conferences against only one loss.0 The game between the Bears and Governors will be the last in 2016 for the SoCon against teams from other FCS conferences in the regular season.0 The SoCon is 4-1 versus the Big South, 2-0 versus the Ohio Valley, 1-0 versus the Patriot League, 1-0 versus the Pioneer League, and 1-0 versus the Southland Conference this season.0
3. The Citadel and Wofford not only lead the SoCon in rushing yards per game on offense, the Terriers and Bulldogs rank No. 1 and No. 2 in rush defense as well.0 Wofford is limiting teams to only 50.3 yards per game on the ground, while The Citadel is only giving up 108.3 yards on the ground per outing.000
