Highlighting the Southern Conference’s top performers during week 13.

nOffensive Player of the Week: Jakob Herres, VMI — Led the team with 153 yards and two touchdowns on 8 receptions in the 34-21 win over Chattanooga.

nDefensive Player of the Week: Travis Blackshear, Furman — Helped the Paladins to a 64-7 win over Point with a 49-yard pick six.

nSpecial Teams Player of the Week: Devin Carper, VMI — Blocked a punt that was recovered for a touchdown to take a second quarter lead against Chattanooga that the Keydets would never relinquish.

nCoach of the Week: Josh Conklin, Wofford — His Terriers finished a 7-1 SoCon title run with a bang, beating The Citadel 31-11, averaging over a yard per play more than their rivals.

nX-Factor of the Week: Nathan Walker, Wofford — Racked up 94 rushing yards and two touchdowns on just 10 carries in the win at The Citadel.
